HighTechMom’s Day Gift Ideas

Thanks to the Chief Technology Mom, Beth Blecherman over at Techmamas for the idea of creating a nice big list of High Tech Mother’s Day Gift Ideas.

It’s so funny she sent this because just the other day my sister and I were commenting about all the jewelry ads that come out now that brainwash our families into thinking we want a heart shaped necklace. Or that we’re in desperate need of perfume.

When what we HighTechMoms REALLY want is. . .

Software Upgrades
Even though I got the Adobe CS2 suite just last year and it is working perfectly fine for me, I would love to get the brand new Adobe CS3 suite. Just the thought of new software makes me so happy.

For those moms who are also teachers, school administrators or willing to use their kids’ software, the best place to get software at very affordable prices is Academic Superstore. They offer unbeatable academic discounts which are only available to students, educators, and institutions.

Software Training
What better to go with our new software than training for it. No one wants to read the manual, but video training - now that’s fun. In this regard, my heart belongs to Lynda. Lynda.com, that is. This site has the best software training ever. I even have a HighTech crush on my favorite training instructor Garrick Chow because when he makes a typo in his training he corrects it.

A Blog Design Makeover
Although this could be taken the wrong way if a mom really loves her blog design, how much fun would it be to open up a gift certificate for a blog design makeover? I would squeal with delight.

What is on your HighTechMom’s Day wish list?
