Super Bowl Ads - My Wish List
I admit it. I “participate” in the Super Bowl for two reasons - the snacks and the ads. Frankly, I have no idea who is even playing this year, nor do I care. But we are having a Super Bowl Party and I am very excited for the big day. Our friends are invited, our snacks are planned out and I’m surfing for news about the ads so I know what to watch for when the boring part (aka the actual game) is taking a break.
Hopefully a lot of the folks buying the good ads will read this article on iMediaConnection about making sure the ads are available on the company website. After all, as they say in the article, “What happens on TV no longer stays on TV.” I love to see these commercials again and again. And I just love to talk about them. So, I’ll be watching and clicking too.
Also, I can’t wait to see how many smart marketers use mobile interaction in their ads. In fact, I am going to take a tally for myself. How many websites will I be referred to and how many times will I be asked to Text Message? My prediction is a 10 to 1 ratio - websites to text.
My final Super Bowl Ad wish (which I surely will not be granted) is that GoDaddy would not air a stupidly sexist commercial with a scantily clad woman doing something stupid. Their service is great. I love GoDaddy, but I HATE these stupid commericals.
